Four Days in September is an event that honours the crew of Irish Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue 116 and Catriona Lucas.
The core group cycle to the four rescue helicopter bases in Ireland over four days, the cycle is just under 800 km in distance. Along the way, cyclists who want to pay tribute can join the core group.
The Route:
- Waterford to Dublin
- Dublin to Sligo
- Sligo to Shannon
- Shannon back to Waterford
Each day will also have a different charity associated with it, as follows:
- Dunmore East First Responders
- Dogs for the Disabled
- Pieta House South East
- Aoibheann’s Pink Tie
