We were delighted to supply the decorative lighting package for this impressive office space – Block I, Central Park, Dublin 18.
This remarkable new development stretches over seven floors* offering 14,000m2/7000m2* of office space in Dublin’s latest premium business park – Central Park. Designed with comfort, creativity, productivity and sustainability top of mind, Block I exceeds the highest standards for working space.
Although designed to the highest standards of architecture and sustainability, Central Park offices are essentially blank canvasses for the design team to unleash their creativity. Our lighting design team collaborated with Mola architecture and Jones Engineering to complete lighting calculations to ensure optimised light levels for each space’s specific purpose. Furthermore, Dlight were tasked with supplying the complete decorative package that contributes to the ambience of the office block.
The lighting design showcased many lighting solutions that enhance the overall aesthetic. For example, energy-efficient downlights from Karizma Luce integrate well into the dark ceilings, providing a seamless look that’s easy on the eye throughout the open plan working areas. In addition, the ever-popular Ginger wall lights from Barcelona based lighting company Marset furnish several seated booths, providing a warm and welcoming feeling to help boost creativity. Many recreational areas throughout follow a similar style, with lighting from Rubn and Globen providing a touch of class.
Dlight engineers also worked closely with Optaled to create a bespoke solution that curves with the outline of the kitchen on the top floor. This solution provides optimal task lighting and acts as a focal point when entering the space.
A vibrant atmosphere meets you at the reception with the clever use of LED tape from high-end manufacturer Proled. This solution is seen throughout several areas, from the break out spaces to the reception and cafeteria. A colour temperature of 3000k provides a warm atmosphere that inspires innovation and creativity.
