Waterford Medieval Museum

The Mall
2012

As part of the rejuvenation of the mall in Waterford City, having worked on the Theatre Royal and The Bishops Palace were asked to assist on this unique project.

Working with Bartosz Rojowski was a great pleasure, the vision for this project was one of monolithic where using light in the basement caverns brought life to these perfect mentioned structures, with the new design, the combination of old and new brought a true sense of feel to the scale of the project.

The museum is designed to tell the 1100-year-old story of Waterford, from its foundation in 914 by the Viking’s, to the late 20th century.

Waterford Museum is Ireland’s only Medieval Museum showcases the Treasures of Medieval Waterford
