This week Dlight featured in the latest edition of Electrical Magazine for the recent completion of the Olympia Leisure Centre in Belfast. This was our first large scale project completed in Northern Ireland and hopefully the first of many. It provided us with a good opportunity to display the high levels we can deliver on a project of this scale. The Olympia regeneration was part of a £105m Belfast City Council Investment in Leisure Transformation with the council embracing the opportunities presented by the city’s stadium redevelopments.
We supplied two main product ranges, in the reception area we have the Ringo Star from Lightnet and the impressive downlights and colour changing LED tape lighting in the new spa area are from, PROLED. We’ve used similar fittings for Yahoo’s European HQ in Dublin, so we know the Lightnet range is not only popular but also aesthetically distinctive.
When we take on a large scale project like this we will always take a very proactive and hands on approach which can make all the difference. In addition to Lightnet and PROLED, we also represent high quality European brands including AXOLight, Buck, Vibia, Ilfanale, Moltoluce, Slamp and Rovasi. “The fact that we can also offer lighting design services is an important aspect of our business, which proved particularly successful at the Olympia Leisure Centre.”
